Whingate Dental belongs to the Carholme Dental Group and is based on Tong Road in Armley. It sees both NHS and private patients. NHS care covers the treatment needed to keep teeth and gums healthy, while private care brings longer appointments and a broader choice, including dental implants, tooth-coloured fillings, crowns and bridges, dentures and cosmetic work. Listed treatments include root canal therapy, fillings, dentures, crowns and bridges, teeth whitening and cosmetic dentistry. Patients can be referred to a hygienist for a scale and polish, and younger patients are made particularly welcome. Anyone with bad toothache, swelling or a lost tooth is asked to contact the practice. Interest-free finance is available on some treatments, subject to acceptance. It opens Monday to Friday, closing at 5pm on Mondays and 5.30pm on the other weekdays.
